2019 බක් මහ උළෙල | Sinhala and Hindu New Year Festival 2019

 
It's that time again!
 
We at SLAS are now organising the 2019 Sinhala & Hindu New Year Festival.
 
  • Date     : Saturday, 20th April 2019
  • Time     : 09:30 am - 05:00 pm
  • Venue   : Barmulloch Community Centre, 46 Wallacewell Quadrant, Glasgow G21 3PX
 
 
 
Come join us this time also to have some family fun with fellow Sri Lankans around Scotland and beyond.
 
Based on our experience and your feedback we ticket this event to cover the costs of hosting the event. That way we can ensure we all have a fun filled day to remember than being busy sorting the dishes and filling the buffet. It is an all inclusive amount and kids 15 and under GO FREE.

Sticking to our highest standards we will provide a detailed report following the event including financial information.
 
According to our last year's experience, we are happy to confirm the following information for your contributions:
 
  • £25 per Adult (16 or over)
  • Children 15 and under Go Free


This includes a scrumptious Sri Lankan Lunch and Live Sri Lankan music.
 
You are kindly requested to confirm the number of attendees on or before Saturday, 13th of April 2019.
 
You can reserve your tickets with PayPal payments following the tickets reservation option on the right hand side of this screen (or at the bottom on mobile devices)

When you reserve your tickets make sure to select the correct category and update the numbers (including non-paying children) in PayPal basket before make the payment.

Alternatively, we can let you know our bank details to make your contributions paid direct to SLAS Bank account. Please let us know should you prefer to pay to the Bank account.
 
Please note that all children tickets must be booked with a fee paying adult.
 
Feel free to pass this invitation to your family & friends, but we still want them to confirm their participation and the number attending by the date given above. This will help us organise the event well.

2019 Sri Lankan Night in Scotland

 

You are cordially invited for the 2019 Sri Lankan Night in Scotland.

Tickets can be purchased securely via PayPal, please use the 'Buy Tickets' option on the right.

Date: Saturday, 12th January 2019
Time: From 05:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Venue: Bearsden Community Hub, 69 Drymen Road, Bearsden G61 3QT

Dress Code: Formal / Smart

There will be Sri Lankan music (by S&S) and a 3 course Sri Lankan buffet dinner by Little Lanka Restaurant to enjoy!

We have very limited space available due to the health & safety reasons and we do apologise in advance if we are unable to entertain you this year. We will remove the tickets as soon as we reach the capacity. Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Limited onsite parking available with few disabled parking bays available on a first come first served basis. Ample public car parking available at the Roman Road Car Park (Post Code: G61 3SH) and are free from 05:30 pm on Saturdays. Please ensure to display a parking ticket with your car registration printed (free from the machines) to avoid a fine. Hub is only a 2-3 minutes walk from the car park (see map).
