Dear friends,

Sri Lanka is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis as relentless torrential rains have triggered widespread flooding and landslides across the country.

  • Hundreds of lives lost, with many still missing

  • Thousands of families displaced, homes swept away

  • Schools, transport, and essential services heavily disrupted

  • Thousands urgently need food, shelter, clean water, and medical aid

The road to recovery will be long — but your support can save lives right now.

💛 How You Can Help
You can make a donation through the Ranaviru Fund, a well-established UK-registered charity that has supported Sri Lanka for over 17 years:

Similar Past Projects

Heavy rains from Thursday 12th May 2016 pounded the central Sri Lankan region where at least three villages have swallowed by mountains of mud, forcing soldiers and police to suspend rescue work. Ranaviru Fund together with the Scotland Buddhist Vihara, Sri Lankan Association in Scotland and well wishers delivered a community project for the welfare of the devastated families to recover their livelihood.
